Custom Can Bus module for the Mini R53 that allows functions from a different engine swap or ECU to work with the original Mini Cluster
The special trick of the “RACE” version is that it allows the use of the mini Oe trip computer to show a temp and pressure value on the screen. At the press of a button the module will take over control of the trip computer and show temp and pressure values of external sensors. Exit the menu and all of the original mini values will be shown again.
The “Race” is pre calibrated for a 0-10 bar pressure sensor, and also a Bosch Temp sensor. Self calibration won’t be available as it just complicates the module.
Functions that will be displayed:
RPM on OE Tacho
Coolant temp on OE gauge
MIL/EML light activation
Activation of Red lights as shift light
Control over OE Tacho to show temp/pressure settings
Shift light activation if oil pressure drops below a set pressure over 2k RPM

Option to swap to 9k rpm calibration for use with our new Tacho Dials.
Installation Options
Module only : Programmed module
Connector & Pins : Programmed Module, Genuine and pin set
Terminated Harness: Programmed module, Genuine connector fully terminated with pre-crimped cables.
Plug and Play: Programmed module, Genuine connector fully terminated, with 4m sensor wiring terminated with the correct sensor connectors. Terminated Y harness to install in between the tacho wiring.
The module has been designed to work with most aftermarket ECU’s, and is fully compatible with output's (mil/eml light won’t work with k20z4)
