Custom Can Bus module for the Mini R53 that allows functions from a different engine swap or ECU to work with the original Mini Cluster
Functions that will be displayed:
RPM on OE Tacho
Coolant temp on OE gauge
MIL/EML light activation
Option to swap to 9k rpm calibration for use with our new Tacho Dials.
When connecting the module to the car, there’s a choice of a DIY wire in solution with wiring tails, or complete with a plug and play solution.
The DIY solution will require you to connect POWER, Ground and can hi / can lo. These can be found at the Tacho
The plug and play solution has a Y terminated harness, simply unplug the Oe Tacho and plug the module in between.
The module has been designed to work with most aftermarket ECU’s, and is fully compatible with output's (mil/eml light won’t work with k20z4)
